Hard work and commitment needed, this is not just another PE class. You must qualify to be on the team. . Come to the meeting and find out what the requirement and commitments are.
I hope to see you all there,
Charger Girls and Parents,
Please open and read the attached flyer for our annual EXCER sports physical and clearance dates for the 2018-2019 school year. 05/19/18 and 06/02/18, 8am to 3pm.
Note the following changes for getting cleared!!!
Physicals will be done by appointments this year. The link to the sign-up genius page is on the flier below, click on EXCER below.
We will not accept any physicals dated prior to May 15, 2018. This will eliminate tracking those who expire during the school year/season
As always, we would like to get as many athletes cleared as possible before we leave for the summer. If you plan on participating in a SCHOOL SUMMER SPORTS PROGRAM or attending the XC MAMMOTH TRAINING WEEK you will want to get this done before the end of school but make sure physical date is after May 15th so you are cleared for any sport during the school year.
Please pass this on to your fellow student athletes, other parents, incoming freshman athletes and their parents and any student athlete you know at AHS. Getting this done makes it easier for all coaches to focus on training and workouts.
Thanks for getting this done after May 15th,2018 but before the end of the school year.
Cross Country summer training program will begin July 9th. You must be medically cleared to participate. The Summer training/conditioning program is not affiliated with AHS or LVUSD.
This training is an important part to the success of our Cross Country program and your Coaches highly recommend participation to get ready for the season. Training is done on the local trails and beaches in the area running 25 to 45 miles a week. Practices are Monday thru Friday, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. and Saturday mornings.
The school has an athletic clearance day if you want to be cleared before summer starts. We also accept this clearance for our camp.
Open the attached link for information on getting cleared for sport at AHS. This clearance is for all returning athletes and incoming Freshman athletes.
